Mobile workshop
Not only the technician comes to you. A fully equipped mobile workshop does too.
Many jobs can be checked, prepared and carried out directly on site. This saves unnecessary workshop downtime and enables solutions where the vehicle or boat is actually used.
The base is Schotten in the Vogelsberg region of Germany. Jobs are carried out throughout Germany and elsewhere in Europe – travel and appointment are agreed in advance.

How it works
From your first message to a finished system.
To make an on-site visit worthwhile, we clarify the details first. That saves time, travel and unnecessary cost.
-
01
Enquiry
You briefly describe the vehicle or boat, the location and the problem or project – photos of the installation are welcome.
-
02
Assessment
You receive feedback on what makes technical sense, what effort to expect and what should be prepared beforehand.
-
03
Appointment & visit
Date and location are agreed. The mobile workshop arrives with tools, measuring equipment and the required components.
-
04
Handover
The system is tested, explained and handed over. You know afterwards how it is built and what to look out for in daily use.
Projects
From small vans to commercial shipping.
Every project is different. That is why KW Service & Repair does not deliver off-the-shelf solutions, but technically clean systems for the specific application.

Frequently asked
What people usually ask before getting in touch.
If your question is not covered here, just call or write.
Where do you work?
The base is Schotten in the Vogelsberg region of Germany. Jobs are carried out throughout Germany and elsewhere in Europe, including regular work for commercial shipping in the Netherlands. Travel and appointment are agreed before the visit.
What does a job cost?
That depends on the vehicle or boat, the existing installation and the scope of work. After a short description of your project you receive an assessment of effort, material and travel before an appointment is confirmed.
What information do you need for an enquiry?
Useful details are the vehicle or boat type, your location and the desired service location, a short description of the problem or project, the existing equipment and manufacturers, plus two to four clear photos of the system or installation.
Can everything really be done on site?
Most things, yes. The mobile workshop carries tools and measuring equipment, so inspection, troubleshooting, retrofitting and service are possible directly at the vehicle or boat. For larger conversions the scope is discussed in advance and the visit planned accordingly.
Do you also work on boats and commercial vessels?
Yes. Alongside motorhomes and expedition vehicles, boats and commercially used vessels are part of everyday work, including commercial shipping in the Netherlands.
Which manufacturers do you work with?
Among others Victron Energy, Mastervolt, Autoterm, Webasto, Eberspächer, Fraron, SuperVolt, Pundmann, SCHEER Heizsysteme and CaraWater. If equipment is already installed in your vehicle or boat, the existing setup is used as a basis wherever possible.
Can an existing installation be extended?
In many cases yes. Before extending, the wiring, fusing, charging technology and battery capacity are checked against each other. Only then is it decided what should sensibly be added or replaced.
Planning a retrofit or need help with a technical fault?
Send an inquiry or call directly. These details help prepare the service visit properly:
- vehicle or boat type
- location and desired service location
- short description of the problem or project
- existing technology and manufacturers, if known
- 2–4 meaningful photos of the system or installation situation
